The Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Improvement Action Programme, of October 1999, provides grants to help local governments design local energy saving concepts, energy supply plans and for audits on energy losses. The total resources available are a Ft 125 million loan at a rate of 06% below BUBOR. The support is a subsidy on the interest at a rate of 50% of the rediscount rate.
