Canadian government will invest over CAD 2 million to three residential building projects in Ontario to improve energy efficiency. The federal funding comes from Natural Resources Canada’s Green Infrastructure – Energy Efficient Buildings Program, which serves to improve homes and buildings in terms of design, renovation and construction. The government is also developing a Green Buildings Strategy, targeting increased building retrofits rate, resilient and net-zero ready buildings, and future systematic change in the buildings sector.
