In order to help Swedish households face the energy crisis, the Swedish Energy Agency has produced a guide for homeowners on what they can do to reduce energy use in their homes. The guide includes 6 tips on daily actions, envelope renovation and heating system maintenance:

Review your habits, how you use energy has a big impact on your electricity bill

Insulate the attic and / or the facade

Insulate hot water pipes and switch to efficient water taps

Seal windows and exterior doors, renovate or replace them if they are in poor condition

Review the ventilation system and take advantage of the heat in the ventilation air

Carry out maintenance on your heating system and supplement it if necessary, for example with a heat pump or stove
