The Flemish region offers a subsidy for building renovation work including energy efficiency improvements (including insulating glass, high-efficiency boilers and solar heaters; wall, floor and roof insulation and heat pumps are not eligible). The subsidy is accessible to owners-occupants with income below a certain limit. Additionally, the Flemish government offers financial support for building rehabilitation. Like the renovation subsidy, this subsidy covers work of diverse nature, including insulation of external walls and roof.
