The National Vision 2030 presents Qatar's long term goals and provides the framework for future national strategies and plans.
The guidelines for the environmental plans, included in the vision, are:
preserving the environment and its natural balance to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development for all generations
supporting international actions against climate change
developing an agile and comprehensive legal system
establishing effective and sophisticated environmental institutions
