For several years there have existed municipal energy and climate advisors in Sweden whose services have been free. Evaluations have shown that they tend to focus on the household sector, but lacking qualifications or knowledge to serve local SMEs. This program is aimed at developing knowledge and capacity in order to meet needs from SMEs too. Thus, the program foresees that accurate and relevant energy efficiency advice should be extended to companies with energy consumption less than 300 MWh/year.
