As part of the Green Municipal Fund initiative, the Municipal Energy Roadmap is a decision-support tool that provides strategic advice to find the most impactful solutions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. It will help municipalities:

discover solutions for energy efficiency in municipal, commercial, and residential buildings;

learn about solutions for community sustainable energy generation;

implement strategies to drive these solutions forward.

The initiative is part of the Green Municipal Fund, a CAD 1 billion program funded by the Government of Canada and delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
