In the context of the Green Conversion Package, the government increased the allocation to Klimasats by NOK 50 million.

Through Klimasats, municipalities and county municipalities can apply for support for projects that cut greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the transition to a low-emission society.  It includes undertaking projects to cut emissions, with a significant focus on 'climate-friendly' transport options.
