Suspension or revocation

The Canadian Energy Regulator may suspend or revoke an authorization by order if the holder requests it, consents to it, or breaches a condition. Before revoking for breach, the regulator must provide written notice and opportunity to be heard.

Suspension or revocation

301 (1) The Commission may, by order, suspend or revoke an authorization if the holder applies for or consents to the suspension or revocation or the holder has contravened a condition of the authorization. (2) The Commission must not make an order under subsection (1) for a contravention unless the Commission provides the holder with notice of the alleged contravention and gives them an opportunity to be heard.
