(Queensland) Code of Practice for the construction and abandonment of coal seam gas and petroleum wells, and associated bores

The purpose of this Code is to ensure that all petroleum wells, coal seam gas wells and associated bores are constructed, maintained and abandoned to a minimum acceptable standard resulting in long-term well integrity, containment of petroleum and the protection of groundwater resources. This Code identifies industry standards and good oilfield practice for oil and gas well design. Requires blowout prevention.
