This programme is mainly for creating awareness of energy conservation programme in the society. Awareness is the key to success of the Energy Conservation Programme. There is a need to reach all sections of the society in an interactive way. Radio is an effective medium to reach people across all cross sections of the society. An interactive radio programme called HAREDA Urja Mantra is being aired from the AIR FM, Chandigarh twice a week since November 04,2008 and the programme is receiving very good response. At the end of the programme, a question is asked and the first correct entry is given a prize of 2 CFLs. The programme has received very good response from the public.
