This standard establishes the levels of energy efficiency in terms of maximum values of electrical power density of lighting (DPEA), as well as the average illuminance that must comply new systems, as well as extensions, of public lighting and public parking lots (open, closed or roofed) regardless of its size and connected load. See the attachment for the maximum DPEA levels.
The standard NOM-013-ENER-2013 supersedes the standard NOM-013-ENER-2004. The 2013 version specifies the maximum DPEA levels by type of pavement, extents DPEAs for parking lots and adds the average illuminance levels.
