Amendments to the 2012 IECC include but not limited to the following:
Insulation and Fenestration Prescriptive requirements for Climate Zone 5
Fenestration U-factor 0.35 instead of 0.32
Skylight U-factor 0.60 instead of 0.55
Ceiling Insulation R-value of R38 instaed of R49
Basement wall R-value Continuous insualtion R10 and cavity insulation R13 instead of 15/19
Crawl space wall R-value continuous insulation R10 and cavity insulation R13 instead of 15/19
Air leakage testing: Post construction test total leakage shall be less than or equal to 8 cfm per 100 square feet of conditioned floor area
Rough-in test total leakage shall be less than or equal to 6 cfm per 100 square feet of conditioned floor area (refer to the code for additional details).
