This standard deals with the energy efficiency labels requirements for residential Single package and split-system non-ducted air conditioners, starting from the 1st of November 2015.
Star rating
Window type:
1 star: 6.80 = EER = 6.30
2 stars: 7.50 = EER = 6.81
3 stars: 8.00 = EER = 7.51
4 stars: 8.50 = EER = 8.01
5 stars: EER = 8.51
Split type:
1 star: 7.10 = EER = 6.80
2 stars: 7.70 = EER = 7.11
3 stars: 8.30 = EER = 7.71
4 stars: 9.00 = EER = 8.31
5 stars: EER = 9.01

AC Unit / Indoor and Outdoor unit
Immediate packaging or carton box
Note: Old versions of EE Label for Air - conditioners shall be replaced with the new approved label beginning November 1, 2015.
Test Requirements:
Climate Class: T3 Condition (IN:DB 29 ° C, IN:WB 19 ° C, OUT:DB 46 ° C, OUT:WB 24 ° C) as per ISO 5151
Test Voltage & Frequency: 230V and 50Hz
Maximum Cooling Performance (full - load operation):
90% and 110% of rated voltage with a single nameplate rating.
90% of the lower rated voltage and 110% of the higher rated voltage for units with a dual or extended nameplate voltage.
Required samples for testing: 2 samples
Tolerance:
Input power: +5%; - 10%
Cooling capacity: - 5%
EER: +5%
