The action plan focuses on development of large scale hydroelectric power and small scale renewable energy power plants that will help increase the electrification rate from 30% to 60% in 2025. The total prodcution capacity is planned to increase from 2,000 MW to 9,000 MW by 2025. Some specific renewable energy projects include a wind farm, hybrid system of 100 MW wind power, 4.2 MW solar and thermal 2 MW.
