India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy drafted the National Renewable Energy Act and put it to public consultation in July 2015. The goal of the Act will be to create legislative framework for further deployment of renewable energy in India.
The draft of the Law covers following issues: security payments, Renewable Energy Fund, grid access and decentralised energy.
