The Renewable Energy Act 2011 (Act 832) aims to provide for the development, management, utilisation, sustainability and adequate supply of renewable energy generation for heat and power. The Act establishes legal basis for the creation of the support programmes for deployment of renewable energy sources such as feed-in tariff and net metering.
