On 27 th July 2012 Energy Regulatory Commission adopted with modification feed-in tariff levels for renewable energy electricity proposed by the National Renewable Energy Board in May 2011.

Energy Regulatory Commission Decision Case No. 2011-006 RM outlines that electricity generated by the renewable energy sources has:

a priority for grid connection;

a priority purchase; and

benefit from fixed tariff to be paid over a fixed period of time (no less than 12 years).

Feed-in tariff are as follow:
