The aim is to reduce fossil fuel consumption by increasing the share of renewable energy use in households and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Support mechanism based on allocation of vouchers to households for reimbursement of part of costs related to installation of renewable energy sources: photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, solar collectors, biomass pellet boilers and heat pumps. Financial allocation also includes support for households at risk of energy poverty. Support is available for both family and apartment buildings. Coordinated by the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation; implemented by the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA). Financed under Programme Slovakia.
