The Federal Halocarbon Regulations establish requirements to reduce and prevent emissions of ozone-depleting substances and halocarbon alternatives from air-conditioning, refrigeration, fire-extinguishing and solvent systems, and containers under federal jurisdiction, including those located on federal or Indigenous lands or owned by federal departments, agencies, Crown corporations or federal works and undertakings.
