The government announced a reduction in the price of electricity and of natural gas starting on 1 January 2026. The price of electricity will be reduced from EUR 22 cents/kWh to EUR 18 cents/kWh for vulnerable consumers included in the public tariff, while the price of natural gas will also decrease for all consumer groups. Consumers with a consumption level of less than 1 000 kWh per year are eligible to use public supply until 2030.
