In June 2011 the

country’s Energy Market Authority and its Land Transport Authority co-lead a multi-agency EV Taskforce

to assess different electric-vehicle prototypes and charging technologies to determine their feasibility in

Singapore. Among other results, the programme led to the installation of over 100 public and private

charging stations, including three quick-charge stations, installed around the city-state (Watts, 2014).
