In 2025, €400 million in grants will be available to support industrial decarbonization, including hydrogen-related initiatives. Projects must be completed within 36 months, with a funding cap of €200 million per beneficiary. The grants aim to: - Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industrial processes by 40% or cut energy consumption by 20%, with hydrogen as one of the eligible solutions. - Support the manufacturing of clean technologies, including electrolyzers. Only new investments are eligible, with a minimum project cost of €30 million. All grant decisions had to be finalised by the end of 2025, and six projects were awarded support.
