The Law of Georgia on Oil and Gas sets the regulatory framework for oil and gas production in Georgia. Agreement between the state and an investor can be granted for the the exclusive right to perform oil and gas operations in the depths and/or continental shelf of Georgia in a specified area and within a specified period based on payable relations.
