The Plan Directeur Extension des réseaux dans les Localités Rurales (PDLER) aims to improve access to electricity in rural areas of Côte d’Ivoire by extending medium-voltage networks and building distribution networks in 426 localities across the Savanes, Woroba, and Zanzan districts. The project, part of the National Rural Electrification Programme, targets connecting 23,549 households and installing public lighting units, benefiting an estimated population of 259,486 and enhancing the synergy of ongoing rural electrification projects.
