Under the SAYEM Industrial Innovation Networks mechanism, private sector firms, particularly those with R&D and product design centers, can apply for funding to form networks with other firms, end-users, technology development zones, and universities. The goal is the co-creation of high value-added products and technologies to meet “green deal” objectives.
The networks will be established in two phases. In the first phase, grants will be provided to develop cooperation models and networks based on a roadmap with a business model. In the second phase, grants will focus on R&D and innovation activities aligned with strategic milestones. The target technology readiness level should range between TRL 5 or 6 and 9, aiming to move closer to market commercialization.
