The Mission-Centric Strategic Roadmap for Critical and Emerging Technologies identifies clear priorities for pan-government policies on R&D of strategic technologies to secure strategic advantages. It lists 16 key technologies where a fierce race for technological supremacy is taking place, including secondary batteries, advanced mobility, next-generation nuclear energy, advanced biotechnology, aerospace and marine technologies, and hydrogen. The roadmap also outlines mission strategies to be achieved by 2030 for these identified technologies, focusing on R&D investment milestones, international cooperation, talent acquisition, and improvement.
