The Ministry of Finance of Slovakia will provide EUR 153 million to help households and businesses facing the rise in electricity prices and ensure that in 2023 the so-called tariff for electricity transmission losses stays fixed at 1,7169 €/MWh (2022 levels) despite wholesale electricity price increase.
This amount will be paid by the Ministry's subsidiary - the Slovak TSO Slovenskej elektrizačnej a prenosovej sústavy, a.s. (SEPS), as an extraordinary contribution.
