Title 3.11 of the National EZK & LNV Subsidies Regulation includes the SME Credit Guarantee (BMKB) subsidy module.

On 7 November 2022, Green Credit Guarantee (BMKB-Green) launched to help SMEs to become more sustainable. Applying for a loan under the BMKB-Green goes through the financier of the SME, and is guaranteed by the state.

The BMKB-Green is available for companies with a maximum of 250 employees with an annual turnover of up to EUR 50 million or a balance sheet total of up to EUR 43 million.

Investments in business premises must at least lead to energy label C.

A total of up to EUR 200 million in guarantees can be provided. The Council of Ministers has approved this regulation on the proposal of Minister Adriaansens of Economic Affairs and Climate.
