The Government presented a new package of measures worth HRK 4.8 Billion (EUR 637 million) to alleviate the impact of the energy crisis and high energy prices. The measures will become operational on April 1, 2022 and will be valid until March 31, 2023.
The package includes the following measures:
HRK 2.1 billion for tax relief through reduced VAT rates.
HRK 1.2 billion for gas subsidies, HRK 800 million for social benefits and benefits for retirees.
HRK 460 million refers for the limitation of the increase in benefits for electricity.
HRK 250 million in support for farmers and fishermen.
