The Polish government implemented an additional support package in April 2022, aimed at supporting households and actors (notably hospital, schools, cultural institutions..) affected by liquidity issues due to the global energy crisis.
The package notably reduces annual servicing fees for borrowers, establishes flexibilities for loan repayment deadlines, provides financial assistance to those experiencing difficulties in repaying mortgages, shifts reference interest rate indicators and funds an Assistance fund for the banking sector.
