The Slovak Government by its Resolution No 576/2007 approved the Concept of Energy Efficiency for the Slovak Republic, prepared by the Ministry of Economy. More detailed specification of the measures implementing this concept is gradually being done by Energy Efficiency Action Plans; the first of these for the years 2008- 2010 is already in force, the second Action Plan for the years 2011-2013 will be approved by June 2010, the third by June 2013. To be superseded by National Energy and Climate Plan by January 1, 2020.
