Resolution of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus No. 113 dated November 8, 2016, approves and puts into effect the standards of maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants in the atmospheric air.

The standards for methane are :

-          maximum concentration - 5.0 x 10^4 μg/m3,

-          average daily - 2.0 x 10^4 μg/m3,

-          average annual - 5.0 x 10^3 μg/m3.
