The purpose is to deliver publicly-reported independent research, in particular to the advantage of communities living in gas development regions. Governments and policy-makers benefit from the research outcomes too.

CSIRO’s GISERA was funded under the Gas Fired-Recovery plan with AUD 13.7 million.
