The Polish nuclear power programme is a strategic document updated by the Polish government in 2020. It defines the tasks necessary for the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland.
The document includes plans to implement nuclear energy, ensure safe and effective operation of the nuclear power facilities, including decommissioning of the plants after the end of their operational lifetime and the safety of spent fuel and radioactive waste management.
The Program implementation schedule has been set out for the years 2020-2043.
