The Czech National Recovery Plan is a strategic plan in 6 pillars designed to tackle the economic crisis related to the Covid-19 pandemic and promote a sustainable recovery. The 5th pillar concerns "Research, development and innovation". It includes 2 submeasures:
- Excellent research and development in areas of public interest in healthcare (CZK 5 billion)
- Support for research and development in companies and the introduction of innovations into business practice (CZK 8.2 billion)
As of June 1, 2021, the allocated budget is CZK 13.2 billion excluding VAT.
