The National Fund will assume the costs associated with the specific remuneration regime for renewables, cogeneration and waste (RECORE), so as to diminish costs for consumers, whether households or companies. Specifically, the costs represent 16% of the domestic electricity bill at the moment. The law also aims specifically to avoid increases in the price of electricity, to give clear signs of electrification of the economy and to provide the certainty, sustainability and balance to the system that will allow the mobilization of the necessary investments in the coming years.
