As part of the fourth supplementary 2020 budget proposal, the Finnish government will allocate 20 million EUR to support investments and studies related to the production and use of renewable energies, energy efficiency and other measures to promote the transition to a low-carbon energy system.
The funding is used to support demonstration projects under 'Energiatuki' support mechanism.
The current scheme lasts until 2022 but is intended to be continued also from 2022 onwards.
