The Western Australian Government established a $10 million Renewable Hydrogen Fund (Fund) over four financial years, commencing in 2019-20, to support the development of the hydrogen industry in Western Australia. Total funding is available as: - A sum of up $9 million for grant funding to support the development of feasibility studies or capital works projects; promote private sector investment and leverage third party funding in order to achieve objectives of the Western Australian Renewable Hydrogen Strategy. Grant funding is available to support projects/activities in the Perth metropolitan area (up to $2 million) and regional WA locations (up to $7 million) - A sum of up to $1 million will be dedicated to resourcing, regulatory analysis, and other Government work to be undertaken by the Renewable Hydrogen Unit.
