1 - This Decree-Law establishes the legal regime applicable to the self-consumer of renewable energy, establishing the discipline of the production activity associated with the facilities of use of the self-consumer of renewable energy.

2 - This Decree-Law also lays down the legal regime for renewable energy communities, and in this part partially transposes into national law Directive 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and the Council of 11 December 2018 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources.
