As part of its Recovery and Resilience Plan, the French government is putting forward its hydrogen strategy.

Three priorities are listed:

1. Diminishing GHG emissions for the industry

2. Developing heavy hydrogen industry

3. Supporting R&D for training. The aim is to scale at industry-level to reduce production and technology costs.

The plan is expected to create 50,000 to 100,000 jobs by 2030.
