The Ministry of Environment and Climate Action has granted provisional approval for 220 self-consumption projects with an individual generation capacities of no more than 1 MW, and a combined generation capacity of 30MW.

This will enable system owners to begin generating power immediately instead of awaiting for final approval. The usual approvals regime was reinstated on April 30, 2021, when the state of emergency was lifted.
